I recently had a wonderful stay at Annexe In Ditcheat and it was truly amazing. The hosts, Martin and Shirley, were so welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. The property itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a cozy and homely retreat. I was pleasantly surprised by the fully equipped kitchen, which was a lifesaver with my two young children. The two bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were nicely decorated and provided all the necessary amenities. The little touches like the welcome basket and toys for the kids were much appreciated. The location, although in the middle of nowhere, offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The sight of horses passing by each morning brought joy to my children. it was a refreshing change of scenery with all the comforts one would hope for in a home away from home. I would definitely recommend Annexe In Ditcheat to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We had an amazing Easter break at the annex! the property was spacious, perfect for our family with 2 kids. the secured garden area was a great bonus, and the welcome basket made us feel right at home. the locally made cheese in the basket was absolutely delicious, one of the nicest cheeses we've ever had! We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, it made cooking for our little ones a breeze.
we didn't realize that there was no bath, which was a challenge with two young children. the bedrooms had limited closet space, so some hooks on the walls or back of doors would have been helpful.

The location of the hotel was key for my business trip, as it was conveniently situated near my meetings and other important places. the cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive, with everything spotless and well-maintained. the presence of two shower rooms with toilets was a definite advantage, especially when traveling with colleagues.
One aspect that could have been improved was the lack of a handrail on the step to the bedrooms. This could potentially be a concern with disabilities or mobility issues.

Martin gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the property. the newly converted Annexe was modern yet very homely, with clean and fresh rooms. There were two spacious bedrooms, one of which had an ensuite bathroom, providing plenty of space for the four of us. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome hamper, milk in the fridge, and slippers provided for each guest. the location was perfect, with a beautiful country pub just across the road where we enjoyed drinks and meals. We would definitely book the Annexe again in the future. Cons: Everything was great! 👍🏼.
